Somebody rang me saying they were from BT, supposedly working at some UK call centre. But then they messed up the postcode, saying it was uk1a7aj or something daft. I cracked up laughing and the next thing they tell me to just hang up the phone. Quite funny really.

Got a call from some Asian bloke saying he was with BT and was talking about my broadband speed. There was a lot of noise in the background, and when I questioned him about it, he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach about a problem with my phone line. The background was really noisy, like one of those foreign call centres, definitely not here in the UK. I questioned the guy a bit and as soon as I started pressing for answers, he just dropped the call. Total scam, watch out.
