I received a call from someone who insisted they were from BT Openreach, stating there was an issue with my internet connection. The thing is, I don’t have any dealings with BT Openreach whatsoever! I made it quite clear to the caller that I would only expect communication from my actual service provider, and that this method of contact was rather unorthodox. After going back and forth with this individual, I ultimately decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.
