I just got a ring from this number, and the bloke on the line had a South Asian accent. He claimed to be calling from McAfee, saying my virus protection wasn't functioning right and that the scan results were off. I told him to send me an email instead since I’m not comfortable chatting about my computer’s safety with someone who just cold-called me. He ended the call straight away after that.

I received a call today from a chap with a foreign accent who claimed my BT internet would be disconnected for a week, and that he could sort it out for me. What a load of nonsense! I immediately expressed my disbelief, and he hung up. It's truly appalling how these individuals exploit vulnerable folks in the sanctity of their own homes. Imagine if someone was elderly, unwell, or had difficulties understanding - they could easily manipulate them and extract sensitive information. I really hope there are stronger measures or regulations implemented to take these scammers down!

I received a rather unpleasant call from a man with a foreign accent, claiming he wanted to discuss McAfee Antivirus with me. Upon inquiring who he was and why he was contacting me out of the blue, he got quite aggressive. The call seemed to originate from the Aldershot vicinity. When I tried to return the call, it rang for a moment and then cut off abruptly!

This lot called my mate, who's Asian, and said his name was Micheal Morris! They’re total time wasters but sounded pretty believable. If they’d been given the chance, they might’ve got into an elderly person’s computer, which is scary.

Some bloke called saying he was from BT and wanted to sort out my internet because of hackers messing around. I told him straight up he had no clue who I was since he never asked for any info to prove it, just assumed I had an account with BT - which I don’t. He went quiet after that! Just another dodgy scam attempt!

I received a perplexing call today, where the caller asserted they were from BT’s technical support. I quickly recognised the ruse and dismissed them, hanging up without a second thought.

This afternoon, I got a call from a guy saying he was from TalkTalk. He told me there was some sort of technical issue with the line and that my internet would be cut off for about a week or maybe up to 10 days. Then, out of nowhere, he just said bye and ended the call! Seems to me like they might call again soon, probably trying to offer some “help” with my router or PC. Fishy if you ask me.

Got a call today just before 1pm from a bloke claiming he was with BT. He said my router had some kind of fault because the blue power light was blinking, warning me that my PC and private information might be at risk from hackers. Funny thing is, I was right next to the router and all the lights were solid, no flashing at all. I told him "oh yeah?" and ended the call sharpish. Honestly, these scammers should be caught and put to an end.

I got another call claiming to be from Talk Talk, saying they needed to switch off my internet to sort out some security issues. I kept asking loads of questions to catch him out, and the bloke started getting really annoyed because I wasn’t giving straight answers. After a bit, he just hung up on me. The weird thing is, I’ve noticed no problems with my internet the whole time, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam.

Today I got a call from some bloke who called himself "George Wilson" and had a funny accent. He said he was from BT and claimed there was a problem with my internet speed. It was pretty obvious to me that he was trying to scam me, so I just told him to get lost.

No idea who's calling, but when I picked up, all I got was a recorded voice saying 'Goodbye'. Kinda pointless, if you ask me.

I never quite managed to pick up before the person on the other end from this number hung up. When I phoned them back, the first attempt connected briefly but then got handed over to someone else right away (I could hear the line switch). The second try only rang a couple of times before it just dropped out. Sounds dodgy to me, and someone ought to report it so it doesn’t catch anyone out with whatever scam they might be running.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying our internet was getting cut off for 15 days. Sounded dodgy straight away, so I just replied, "Alright then, cheers, bye." When I tried calling back to check what on earth that was about, the phone rang a couple of times and then just went silent. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

got a call from someone saying they were with bt, saying there was a problem with our internet. They kept asking me about the router but i gave vague answers on purpose. then they started shouting when i didnt answer the way they wanted and passed me over to a "supervisor" so i just ended the call. after that, they rang me more than 5 times but didnt say anything when i picked up. felt really creepy and like harassment, maybe even a risk.

I've been receiving calls from this number claiming to represent TalkTalk. They say they're offering a refund and then try to get you to log onto your computer and divulge all your online banking information. I can assure you, this is not TalkTalk, and I've reported the number to the company. Be cautious!
