Somebody rang me pretending to be from TalkTalk, then quickly handed me over to a 'senior technician' who basically repeated the same story about errors on my internet. They said if I used a computer or laptop, they could fix the problem but I told them twice I don’t have any. After that, they just hung up on me. Seems like a scam to me since they ended the call when I couldn’t cooperate. The voices sounded like they were from somewhere in the Far East, with really poor English that was hard to understand. Does anyone know how I can block calls like this?

Today I got a call from a woman’s recorded voice who said she was with BT. She claimed there was an issue with my internet and that they’d have to disconnect it. I just listened quietly until the call ended on its own.
