Got a call from this number saying it was "Carphone Warehouse". I hung up straight away cos they were on the TPS list. Later I rang Carphone Warehouse myself and the number’s not theirs at all. I’ve told TPS about it and I’m also planning to report it to Action Fraud.

I received a call from this number, and a woman was on the line. When I asked her to clarify the company name, she mumbled it three times, and I still couldn’t catch a word! Oddly enough, everything else she said came through loud and clear. To top it off, she seemed completely unfazed that my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service.
