Got a call from a number with my local area code, supposedly from a bank, saying there was a payment of about £700 that needed approval. They asked me to press 1 to confirm or something like that. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam, so I blocked the number straight away. It’s so irritating that they used a familiar STD code to make it seem legit!
