Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, but the line was just a jumbled mess with loads of background noise. Definitely felt like a scam to me as we dont even use their services. Pretty sure it’s a dodgy call centre trying to pull a fast one.

The phone buzzed but when I picked up, nobody was on the other end.

Got a call from someone in India saying he was from the church's electric meter dept. I kept asking which company he was with and finally he said SSE Energy. Since we switched from them ages ago, I asked when our last bill was. He swore at me and just cut the call off. Proper rude!

They called saying they were from E-on Next but that wasn’t true at all. Was trying to convince me my electric contract needed renewing, but it definitely didn’t. Watch out what info you give these people!

Somebody rang me saying they were from EON and wanted to have a word with a manager, but they couldn’t even tell me the manager's name. They insisted we had an account with them, but when I asked for the name linked to it, they couldn't provide any name immediately. Then, there was a pause where I reckon they put me on mute or went off for a bit. When they returned, they started rattling off a load of directors’ names, probably grabbed from Google or some company register. They were really pushy and just wouldn’t back off when I said no.
