I received a call from someone purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, and they were quite insistent on obtaining the security number at the back of my card while I was trying to set up a direct debit. It immediately raised my suspicions-definitely seems like a scam to me, pure and simple!

Received a call from someone promoting an EE package for an iPhone 13. When I inquired about the location of their head office, the caller provided an address. I mentioned that I actually work there and that their information was incorrect. The chap then rudely told me to bugger off and promptly ended the call.
