Got a call saying I was owed some PPI compensation, asked which company it was from, he just said one of those adverts you see on TV. He claimed they had to put the money straight into my bank but I said I wanted a cheque instead. Then he wanted my address, I first gave my old postcode, but then said I’d moved and gave the new one. I doubt he can find it easily since it’s a new estate and not in the usual system yet. Then out of nowhere he says I’d have to take out life insurance to get the payout. At that point I told him to jog on, what a dodgy little scammer!

They tried to talk to me but couldn't even manage to say my name right, which isn't hard at all. Just another load of rubbish, probably more of that PPI nonsense.

He called claiming to be from some benefits organisation in the UK, mentioning a new heating system or something like that. Felt a bit iffy about it, so I just ended the call.

Got a call the other day from someone saying I could get compensation for an accident I had quite some time ago.

Got a call with no voicemail, so it must've not been anything urgent. Don’t know the number at all, so I’m guessing it was either some annoying sales pitch or another scam. I’ve blocked the number now.

They just keep silent on the other end and then suddenly cut off the call.
