Got a call from what said it was sky maintenance, but the accent sounded Indian, which was weird cos the number had a Welsh dialling code. Ended up blocking it.

Got a call claiming to be from Sky, saying I owe £95 a month for the second part of some 2 year service deal. They also offered a 'deal' where if I pay £95 now, that covers 12 months. They warned if I don't agree, I’ll get hit with a big penalty fee! Number was 01248562001. Seems fishy to me.

They never said who they were but somehow had my full name. The voice didn’t sound Welsh at all. When I asked who was calling, they just hung up straight away.

Got a call from them really late, then they just dropped the line so you end up calling back and getting charged a hefty premium rate. They never bother to tell you who they are either, I reckon it’s some dodgy telemarketing scheme. Definitely steer clear of this lot.

Got a call from someone claiming to do consumer surveys, but they already knew my name and asked if my address was right. When I tried to find out who they were, they just hung up on me. The voice didn't sound local at all, definitely not from Bangor in North Wales like they said. It's a bit unsettling they had both my name and address.
