I had a right palaver when that call came through, thought it might be regarding some Government scheme to swap out my boiler, you know? I told the caller to jog on. I’m ex-directory and on the Telephone Preference Service list, so I've lodged a complaint with them. The caller was a woman with a heavy accent that made it quite difficult to decipher what she was saying. At first, I thought she wanted to chat with someone named Fiona; turns out she was after "the householder" but I had to ask her to repeat it thrice before it clicked!
