I got a call on 07/01/21 with the exact same questions as before. First, the caller double-checked if my name was right based on what he said earlier, then claimed to be from 3, offering a phone upgrade. It sounded dodgy when he asked what phone i had, cos surely 3 would already know that info. I told him to ring back later cause I was at work, and luckily they haven't blocked this number yet. It's definitely a scam!

I’ve been receiving incessant calls from someone purporting to be from O2. However, I managed to outsmart them a bit. They claimed that O2 passes on our information for upgrade purposes, which is quite simply a load of rubbish.
