It’s clear this is not a genuine BT call, despite what’s being said.

Got a call from a guy, sounded like he was Asian, saying he was with British Telecom. He said there was some kind of fault with my internet line and that the service would be down for about 20 days. I told him I wasn’t with BT, but he insisted everything’s linked to BT anyway. Then he started asking how many gadgets I had hooked up to my Wi-Fi and claimed we had to check them all to fix the problem. When I said no and hung up, he rang me back straight away. Bit fishy if you ask me.
