Totally a scam, mate. Never let them on your PC, it's just not worth it.

I wouldn't even bother picking up if I were you. This chap claimed he was ringing from BT regarding an issue with my internet. He wanted me to fire up my computer, but there wasn't a single problem on my end-everything was running smoothly! Then, bizarrely, he started asking for my age. I was having none of it. Plus, in my experience, whenever BT’s customer service gets in touch, they never show their number!

Been getting calls from this number for the past three days, no clue who it is. I just hang up right away every time. I'm already signed up with the TPS, so not sure why they're still ringing.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with BT, but I could hardly make out what they were saying. It seemed to involve another IP address allegedly using my internet. I expressed my doubts about his legitimacy and suspected it was a scam, and just like that, he ended the call.

Today, I got a call from 01246895212. The bloke on the other end had an Indian accent and said he was calling from BT. He claimed my computer was infected and wanted me to turn it on and let him access it to sort the problem. Pretty clearly just a con, I didn’t fall for it.

Today, I got a phone call from this number claiming there was an issue with my internet connection. Right from the start, I remained courteous, fully aware that it was likely a scam. Eventually, he gave up and hung up. He had an Indian accent, which I noted.

I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent who claimed to be contacting me on behalf of BT in London. He mentioned that there was an issue with my router and suggested they were shifting me to a different server. However, he then insisted there was a fault with my router, which really rubbed me the wrong way. I promptly called him out for his disgraceful behaviour, accusing him of attempting to scam unsuspecting folks, and I terminated the call right then and there. He attempted to ring me again, but I chose to ignore the second call.

Had another call from this number this week, so I chose not to pick up; I recognised it as a scammer from the previous chat. Last time, the bloke claimed to be from BT, but he didn’t make it very far before I hung up!

Today, I had the misfortune of receiving a call from this number as well. The chap on the other end claimed there was an issue with my internet connection and insisted I head over to my computer while he walked me through the necessary steps to sort it out. I quickly realised he was up to no good and called him out for being a scammer. Despite his desperate attempts to convince me otherwise, I wasn’t fooled, having encountered this kind of nonsense before. In the end, he lost his temper and let loose a few choice words before abruptly ending the call.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with BT. He stated that my internet connection was being accessed by other IP addresses, which seemed rather implausible to me. I informed him that it was a rather inconvenient moment for such a discussion. This number has rung my landline twice in two days, and today it popped up on my caller ID as an international call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
