Got a call from a number flagged as spam, but I picked up anyhow. The woman on the line said her name was Sam, but honestly, I could barely make out what she was saying. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Fonehouse, trying to sell me contract deals. I said I’d just bought a new phone and asked them to take me off their list, but they wouldn’t remove my number. When I mentioned it’s legally required, they flat out refused and hung up on me. To check, I rang Fonehouse directly from their official website (a completely different number) and they confirmed it was a scam. Apparently, they don’t make unsolicited calls and my number isn’t in their system. Don’t answer or engage - just BLOCK this number!
