This morning, I got a call claiming to be from Microsoft about some errors on my PC. Since I work with computers, I told the guy there was no issue at all, but he kept saying something was wrong. I asked him what operating system my computer used, and he couldn’t answer. At that point, I just ended the call - pretty clear it was a scam.
