I was on the call with them for nearly an hour and managed to get the price down to just £23 a month for an iPhone 13 Pro Max - all thanks to Alex Hill from Carphone Warehouse. I kept pressing him for his employee ID, and after a while, they just gave up and cut me off. Proper dodgy deal that was, but they really didn't like me by the end! Loved every minute of it!

Total scam artists! I wouldn’t answer if I were you, and definitely block the number straight away. If you’ve got a missed call from them, don't bother ringing back. Also, be careful not to leave any personal info in your voicemail greeting. Not sure if it’s standard on all Androids, but mine actually warns me when a caller might be dodgy, which is pretty handy.

This appears to be a dubious car-hone warehouse scam operation. They’ll attempt to coax you into sharing your bank information and making upfront payments, all under the guise of a "refundable promise" (what a joke!). If you find yourself receiving calls from these characters, don't hesitate to block the number immediately. While I was on the phone with one of them, I took a moment to look up the number online and realised it was a scam, so I thought it might be amusing to keep them on the line for a return call, which they did. I let it ring out and promptly blocked the contact. Immediately afterwards, I was inundated with four additional calls from various landline numbers scattered across the UK! It’s absolutely baffling how the authorities aren’t taking action against these criminals. Please, whatever you do, refrain from sharing any personal information, bank details, or money with these rogues.

Got called no less than 6 times in about 6 minutes by someone saying they were Charlie from Carphone Warehouse. First it was from 01204204004, told him to buzz off. Then a different number, 01157060035, and I warned I'd get the coppers involved. After that he rang a few more times - back from 01204204004, then 01250890024, 01257666035 and finally 0124589028. Didn't even bother answering the last three. Different area codes each time but clearly the same bloke. Ended up blocking every one of the numbers.

I’ve gotten a few calls from 01245 892028, which is Spark Solution, a marketing firm. Tried calling back but no luck, eventually got through to an automated message saying “welcome to…” with options like press 1 and so on. It felt like they shoved me into some endless waiting line. Received a call promoting a new mobile plan - when I inquired about the source of my number, they responded with, "You're not permitted to ask that." I pressed further, and the lady with an Indian accent on the line accused me of swearing at her and abruptly disconnected the call.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was calling from Carphone Warehouse. When I didn’t respond, he just ended the call. I rang the number back and it actually went to Spark Solutions. They told me to get in touch at [email protected] if I wanted to opt out of their marketing. I received a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse in Chelmsford. They offered me an iPhone 13 Pro Max for a monthly fee of £38, but requested an upfront payment of £53, promising that I'd get that back once the phone arrives. He mentioned he would also sort out the cancellation of my existing contract with my current provider. The chap introduced himself as Amar and mentioned his ID number was 3021.
