Just got a call from this number. A bloke with a heavy Asian accent claimed he was calling about something to do with [unclear], but then went silent except for some noise like people chatting in the backround. Felt like one of those fake calls. I hung up straight away.

Got a call from a UK landline but didn’t pick up coz I didn’t know the number. Decided to check who it was after seeing loads of complaints about it. I’ve had to block 0124589226 along with some other numbers that kept calling nonstop over the past few weeks. Every day it’s a different caller trying to talk me into some insurance deal. I told them I never agreed to share my number, but they kept pushing me to do a GDPR check. After I said a couple of times I’d get a solicitor involved, they finally stopped. Another time, someone from “consumer care” called about debts from the pandemic, but I told them I don’t owe anything and they just hung up on me - very impolite.
