I ultimately chose against signing up for that online trading course the caller was promoting. He was rather insistent, claiming to be some sort of cryptocurrency expert who absolutely needed me to take him at his word. He promised that wealth would be mine in a flash if I followed his guidance.

I got a creepy automated call from someone pretending to be HMRC. The robotic voice said I was involved in a criminal case and that my home was being watched because there was a warrant for my arrest! Then they told me to ring them back. I've already let HMRC know about it though.

Got loads of calls from these lot, really pushy and rude. They were trying to get me to sign up for some online trading thing that I don’t want or need. Even after I told them flat out I wasn’t interested, they just kept ringing. Ended up blocking their number to get some peace.

Got a call about claiming for a car crash with another driver, which never even took place. When they figured I wasn’t at my house, they started ringing me on my mobile instead.
