I picked up the phone but couldn’t make out their name at all. I asked them to say it again since they were mumbling, and out of nowhere they just shouted “screw you, you liar!” and slammed the phone down on me. Lovely. Definitely someone annoyed and probably trying to scam.

Got a call from 01245 801637 about a home energy assessment. When I questioned them about their identity, they said Colvseal from Bradford. Seems dodgy since there’s an eco energy company called Coldseal in Bradford, probably trying to trick people. I’m based in North Yorkshire with a Bradford postcode and signed up to the TPS. Definitely a scam in my book.

He claimed he wasn’t attempting to sell anything, yet wouldn’t let the conversation end. I made an effort to remain courteous, but in the end, I had to terminate the call. He came across as quite a pushy sales agent, perhaps targeting a list of pensioners from the local authority.

I asked her what exactly makes a 10-year-old window less effective, but she was super dodgy and didn’t really explain. I’m a science teacher, so I kept digging with questions she clearly couldn’t handle... then she just ended the call on me.
