This number rang me twice, but thankfully I've got call guard set up. They always have to say who they are before I even pick up, so no chance for them to sneak through.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from Talk Talk, with an Asian lady saying there was a problem with my router and some error messages showing up. I told her I don’t use Talk Talk, which seemed to catch her off guard, and she just hung up. Since then, I’ve had three more calls from the same number in less than an hour, but I didn’t pick up. Pretty sure it’s one of those scams.

I caught maybe just bits of it, something to do with internet or computer stuff.

some guy with an asian accent said he was from talktalk and that someone was using my internet without permission and asked me to turn on my computer. he must’ve thought i was daft, so i just said no and hung up straight away.

Got a call earlier from someone claiming they'd cut off my internet in 15 minutes for 15 days because of 'serious misuse'. They said I could stop this if I bought a special package. Thing is, we don’t even use TalkTalk, so it was obvious this was a scam!

On the 18th of May, this number gave us a ring but we chose not to pick up (we usually avoid answering unknown numbers). Looking back at people's comments, it’s a relief we didn’t, especially since calls from landlines can cost up to 9p a minute, and from mobiles anywhere between 3p and 40p a minute depending on your plan. Plus, landline calls often have an additional setup fee, and charges vary depending on the time of day. Thankfully, many providers do offer packages with free calls at specific times. Glad we stuck to our rule on 18.5.17!

Somebody rang up pretending to be from TalkTalk, saying they'd cut off my internet if I didn’t do what they asked. I reckon their plan was to take control of my computer or get hold of all my passwords and websites I visit. So dodgy!

this guy rang me and sounded really hard to get what he was saying. he claimed to be from talk talk and said he was trying to help us because we supposedly had an issue with our router, which we didn't even know about.
