Some bloke rang me claiming to be a doctor, asking why I missed an appointment. I was completely baffled so told him he must have got the wrong number. He said sorry and hung up straight away.

I received a rather odd phone call from a lady claiming to be from Sky, insisting there was an issue with my internet connection. The call was all very peculiar as the line kept disconnecting, and then, just like that, they hung up on me! Interestingly, I had a similar encounter before, but it was a chap on the other end. I couldn't finish our conversation due to a pressing matter that needed my attention at the time. Quite a coincidence, wouldn’t you say? 😒
