I picked up a call around 10 in the morning on my home phone since the number started with 01245, which is from my area. The message was some recorded voice saying it was the ‘Bank Fraud Department’ warning me about a dodgy payment of £300 to Amazon and a £1000 transfer abroad from my bank account. I had a gut feeling it was some kind of scam and hung up straight away. When I rang the number back from my mobile, nobody answered.
