Got a call from a bloke asking if he was talking to Mrs something. I corrected him, saying it’s Miss not Mrs. Then he went, “Good afternoon Miss... I’m ringing from Severn Trent water about your plumbing and drainage cover, which we handle for you. Just letting you know it’s almost time to renew...” I quickly told him, “I don’t pay for that, I’ve already sorted it.” He let out a really loud sigh and then just cut me off! So impolite! I’m definitely gonna email the water company because I reckon someone else might get caught out by this.
