i ignored the call since it seemed like it might be one of those scam calls.

I got a call from a bloke with a funny accent who asked if I was still getting those annoying calls. He claimed he worked for a company that deals with nuisance calls.

This caller said they were from the telephone preference service but I’m not sure if that was true. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

definitely a scam call. some foreign bloke kept asking for someone who used this number years ago, like over 5 years back. their BT list must be proper old. when i told him i had no idea who they meant, he just hung up on me.

Got a call where nobody said a word, just silence. Then they rang again, this time a woman said she could help put an end to all these annoying calls. Definitely sounded like a con to me.
