I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my internet speed was slow and asking if they could access my computer to fix it. This happened a couple of times before. When I said I suspected it was a scam, the bloke, who sounded Indian, tried to persuade me otherwise but then just hung up. I tried ringing the number back but it said the number was unreachable or dialled wrong. Pretty sneaky, as the number actually shows up on your caller ID and even gets saved in 1471.
