They said they were partnering with Samsung to give me an extended warranty for my washing machine. Since they already had my address, I told them to just send me the details in the post. Then they got really pushy, telling me to 'get with the times' and that they had to get a supervisor on the phone. Total scam, no doubt about it.

Got a call from someone saying my washing machine warranty had expired and that they had some documents for me to sign to renew it. I asked them what info they had on my washing machine first. They claimed it was a Samsung. I told them I don’t own a Samsung washing machine at all. They asked what brand I did have, and I told them that if they really had paperwork, they’d know the brand already. Before I could say any more, they just hung up on me.
