There was quite a bit of racket in the background, almost like I was chatting with a call centre from abroad. Honestly, it felt rather dodgy and I seriously doubt it was a genuine offer.

Got a call from some call centre claiming they wanted to offer warranty cover on my stuff at home. Be careful, they ask for personal info and then disappear with your cash without doing a thing. Definitely don’t share any details or confirm anything with them. It’s a scam, avoid it!

Got four missed calls earlier and when I checked the voicemail there was some weird heavy breathing with people talking in the background with strange accents. Looked it up here and looks like today’s the day they’re pestering loads of folks according to all these other comments. Blocked the number straight away! X

Around 10:45 today, I got a call from this number. The person was trying to sell me insurance for my TV at £9.85 a month, but then they oddly switched to talking about euros. I cut them off to ask if they were going to ask for my bank info. They tried to keep going on about the perks, but I stopped them again and straight up asked the question. They admitted they did want my bank details. I told them outright they were a scammer and ended the call. I've blocked the number since.
