I got a call from a bloke with a really heavy Indian accent saying he was with a firm that stops nuisance calls. I let him go on for a bit, but as soon as he started asking for my credit and debit card details, I told him I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away. Then, he rang me back right away, this time from the number 01299823867. He wanted to know why I’d cut the call short, but I just told him I wasn’t handing over any card info and said cheers, have a good one, before ending it.

So, this guy with an asian accent rings me up, says his name’s Erin and claims he’s from some blocking company. He told me I’d been bombarded with calls from loads of companies and that his firm (didn’t catch the name) was gonna block my phone. I told him to piss off, as my phone was already blocked. Then I hung up, started adding the block, and wouldn’t you know it, he called back straight away - ended up getting blocked himself.
