Some bloke called saying he was from Virgin and told me there was an issue with my Microsoft licence - apparently it had been hacked. He claimed if I didn’t follow his steps, he’d cancel my licence. I ended the call, but he phoned again and kept me on for about 20 minutes, scaring me silly about losing access to my computer. When I told him I suspected it was a scam, he actually told me I’d catch Covid and lose my job! Mad stuff.
