Got a call about renewing my car insurance. When I asked where they got my info, they said it came from a comparison site. Normally I’m not a fan of call centres, but these guys were alright and I actually managed to sort my insurance out with them.

Call Connections is this big call centre dealing with insurance claims, mostly for car accident injuries. They’re really starting to irritate me, I get about 4 or 5 calls from them each month. I’ve asked nicely to be taken off their contact list, but they keep ringing anyway. They always say they're Call Connections when you ask, but they use loads of different numbers, so each time the number is different even though it's the same company behind it.

This lady said she was calling from Call Compare about renewing my car insurance, which is up soon. When I asked where they got my info from, she claimed I must’ve got in touch with them last year under the name One Call. She said she had all my insurance info apart from claims and convictions. She definitely knew my name and phone number. I didn’t give any more details though. Honestly, I have no idea how they ended up with my info.
