I’ve seen calls popping up from 01244, which I believe is from Chester in Wales. I don’t recognise anyone from that area and they never leave a voicemail, so I’m just going to keep ignoring them.

A chap rang up, inquiring after Mr XX. Naturally, I sought clarification, as we have two gentlemen by that name. He specified which Mr XX he was referring to and proceeded to inform me that he was representing a debt collection agency, offering to assist us in recovering debts. He then inquired if we had been facing any challenges with our own debt collection efforts. I responded, saying our sole challenge involved receiving unsolicited calls from telemarketers like him. To that, he huffily retorted that this wasn’t a cold call, but rather a HOT CALL-whatever that means! I can safely say that’s not the case here. To top it off, he ended the conversation rather abruptly by slamming the phone down.

I received a call from them inquiring about the proprietor, yet they didn’t provide a name. Seems likely they're trying to push a sales pitch.
