They were calling me about loft fitting and I’m pretty sure they weren’t meant to have my number, especially since I’m on the do not call list. If this company is legit, then it’s seriously dodgy practice! After seeing some funny stories online, I’ve just reported them to the ICO and TPS, so hopefully they’ll take action!

My mum got a call on her old number from some bloke who was pretty pushy. He said the government were doing a survey on insulation around here and even mentioned our postcode. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call about loft installation, which was odd as our number's on the directory and TPS list. If they're legit, using our number like that seems really dodgy! Seen lots of people saying similar things on online forums. I've just reported this lot to the ICO and TPS, hoping they'll take action!

It was about loft installation. How do they have our EX DIRECTORY number, plus its on the TPS list? If this is a genuine firm, then this is really bad practise! I’ve seen loads of posts on forums about this sort of thing, so I’m pretty sure the ICO and TPS will take action now that I’ve just reported them.

I got a call from some bloke claiming to be from a surveying firm, trying to sell loft insulation. Sounded a bit dodgy to me. The number was from Chester.

They rang up asking about loft insulation, saying they wanted to book a visit to inspect it because some older insulation might not be up to scratch!
