Someone claimed to be working near where I live and when I asked which postcode it was, they wouldn’t say straight up. The call came from a blocked number, so I just hung up.

Got a call from the number 02394352772 again, but this time it was about solar panels, not loft insulation like before. The bloke said his name was Matthew - pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was working nearby and could knock about 10% off our energy costs. He asked if we had double glazing, mains gas and if he could get into our loft. Told him straight up that no way was I letting anyone into the house.

I got a call from a bloke who had a distinct Brummie accent. He mentioned he’d been attempting to reach me for several days, offering ways to cut my energy costs. The guy was pretty polite throughout. I can’t quite remember if the firm was Honeywell or if he just called me “Honey” when I asked his name. Anyway, I told him I wasn’t interested in the end. He took it well and didn’t hang up rudely or anything.
