Some bloke with a weird accent called me pretending to be from the Telephone Preference Service. He struggled to stick to his script and asked if I owned the number. I said, "Well, if I’m the one holding it, I suppose it’s mine," but that didn’t faze him much. Then he asked if I get loads of annoying calls. I told him, "Yeah, this is one of them, and my number has been on the TPS list for ages. I don’t think you’re really from there, so cheers, goodbye." I ended the call, and thankfully, I’ve not heard from him again.
