It seems I received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to be from Virgin Media. An Indian gentleman, if I'm not mistaken. He stated his location was New Street in London, but I challenged that assertion as I knew that area wasn't affiliated with the company. I inquired about the reason for his call since I’m not a Virgin Media subscriber. His response was a rather cheeky, "You've already mentioned that, ma'am." He went on to say that engineers in the vicinity had detected unauthorised access to my internet. I couldn't help but find it amusing, yet ultimately it was all a load of rubbish. He insisted he could provide me with my service number and other details, and I had a bit of fun at his expense. In a fit of annoyance, he then exclaimed, "Because you’re being difficult, ma'am, I'm going to disconnect your internet!" before abruptly hanging up. Quite the entertaining interaction, I must say!
