My dad, who’s 90, got a call from this firm last week, and they somehow convinced him to hand over his bank info. They ended up taking £75 out of his account. What’s worse, the director, Stuart Michael John Rutter, also runs Bridgewater Care Ltd - a company that’s supposed to provide social care for the elderly and disabled without accommodation. That kinda tells you all you need to know really.

I got a call from a firm called RH Satellite Services trying to sell me insurance for my Sky TV. They were pushing me to hand over my bank info on the phone, which I refused to do. When I asked if they could send information through the post, they said no, which made me feel really uneasy about the whole thing. Later on, I received a call from a different company about Sky insurance, and they told me that RH Satellite Services isn't even regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, so they shouldn't be contacting me at all. Just a heads up to anyone who gets a call like this: don't share your personal details with them and definitely report them to your local trading standards and the FCA!
