Got two calls on my phone two days running from someone with an Asian accent saying they're from BT’s tech support, saying there’s some issue with our internet. Yeah, got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent and a lot of noise in the background. Said my BT broadband was being hacked. Problem is, I don’t even have BT broadband or any BT line! He tried to get me to open some site called W3C Validator. Nah, I gave him the boot. Had a quick look online and it seems they’re pushing some dodgy security software that probably just messes up your computer. Don’t pick up if they ring, and if you do, say nothing. If they ring again, I’m thinking of blasting a Steps megamix and leaving the phone nearby just to wind them up.

So, if you happen to get a ring from this number and the person on the other end sounds Asian, try saying "Penchod" to them. It’s meant to really set them off, since, apparently, it’s like the worst swear word in their language or something! Worth a laugh if you want to see him get properly mad.

This number keeps ringing non stop. I usually wait till they say something first coz I dont like to speak to strangers. Most times they hang up when I stay quiet. You can hear typical call centre noise in the background, so it’s obvious where they're calling from. Had to block loads of calls like this, gets really annoying. Got a call from 01243863163, a woman claiming to be from BT Openreach warning me about IPs hacking my router. Then a bloke came on, asking me to run some event log programme to check router settings. I kept him on the line for about 8 minutes mucking about until he twigged I was messing him around. Ended with him calling me a "bloody idiot" before slamming the phone down. Scammers like this deserve to have their time wasted just like they do to us.

I can’t believe it, they’ve phoned us around 60 times this week alone! Told them we’re registered with TPS and that their calls are against the law, but they just ring from a new number every time.
