Got a call from someone saying they were from BT Openreach, which I wasn’t expecting at all, so it immediately felt dodgy. They tried to talk about my internet but seemed reluctant to have a proper chat when I asked why they were ringing. I told them no thanks, it wasn’t correct and hung up. I’ve also let BT know about it. This is worrying because folks might be waiting for an engineer and these scammers could easily trick them.
