I received a rather curious call from someone inquiring whether I handled the banding for our council house. In my moment of folly, I confirmed that I was indeed the one. When she requested to speak to my husband, he declined, mentioning he had no desire to chat with her. Before I could interject, the call suddenly ended. Now I find myself pondering who it might have been... After the fact, I did a 1471 to get the number, but when the voice instructed me to press 5 to delete it, I went along with it. Perhaps I ought to have retained that information instead! 😑
