Got a call from a number I didn’t know, and there was no voicemail left. Feels like it was probably just another scam.

A guy with a British accent called, claiming to be from Southern Water - the company that deals with our sewage and waste water. He wanted to switch our yearly one-off payment for some sort of damage protection cover to a Direct Debit, asking for our bank details to set it up. Since we don’t actually have any waste water cover with them, we said no thanks. It seemed quite well planned though, since the phone number showed as Chichester, which is nearby.
