I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who started asking if I’d already had the Covid jab and if I had any issues with the clinic. Then, out of nowhere, she said something like, 'Your records show you have life insurance'. That felt a bit off to me but I said yes anyway. She kept pushing for which company it was with, but I told her I didn’t know and that my partner handles all that stuff. She tried to get me to name the insurer, but I kept refusing. It definitely smelt like a scam to me - best just to not pick up or hang up immediately!

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming he was with the government. At first, he was asking questions about the covid jab, but out of nowhere he switched to talking about debts. I asked him what department he was from, and he just said "government." When I went "oh really?", he just ended the call. Definitely another sneaky scammer.

Got a call from someone asking for a person I’ve never heard of, then they just chuckled and ended the call. I’ve blocked the number since then.

Definitely a total NHS scam. A man with an Asian accent on the line, probably from a call centre, took a moment before he started talking once I picked up. Watch out, they might already know your full name but they are not from the NHS at all. I heard him out briefly and then told him to cut the nonsense. He called me rubbish, so I told him to stop being so rude and that he’s a scammer, not NHS. Then the call just ended suddenly.

I got a call from someone saying they were with UK Citizens Advice, telling me I had some debt to settle, which I definitely don't. They also asked if I had health insurance. When I told them I used to work for HMRC, they just hung up on me straight away. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

I didn’t let the guy finish his spiel, but he kicked off by saying he was calling about "COVID19". I quickly stopped him and called out the lies, asking why they’re trying to scam people. Got a call from someone claiming to be from the national covid centre, said they had my info from the national database. I told them I doubted they were contacting me about my covid jabs. Then suddenly he switched and said he wanted to discuss insurance with me. I called it a scam right away and ended the call.

Scam alert - some bloke calling himself the "national covid centre" tried to get me to sign up for this health insurance. Don’t know if the insurance is even proper, but he definitely wasn't honest in what he told me during our chat.

I got calls from this number, 01242 800255, like 17 times today. Every time they ring, someone’s asking for the manager. At one point, I ended up speaking to a woman shouting at me in Cantonese, which was pretty weird. The messages change too - one said they could help with debts, then another said I supposedly owe government money and could be arrested, and later it was about a Covid helpline. All from the same number! Such a strange and annoying experience.

A bloke rang me saying it was about my vaccine status, then started quizzing me on jabs and tests. Suddenly he asks if I’ve got life insurance. I was like, “What has that got to do with my vaccines?” and he just hung up. Later he rang back, claiming I could get a government grant if I answered some questions. Total rubbish. I told him to stuff it and said I’d rather not answer, then he hung up again. Now I've blocked the number. Luckily, I didn't give him any personal info apart from vaccine stuff, but it had me fooled for a bit. Be careful out there!

Got a call from a really polite chap with an Indian accent who asked me about my vaccine status. When I asked what was the reason, he said something about the UK government keeping records. So, I asked if he was with the NHS or Public Health England, and he said yes. I told him that all vaccination info is already in the NHS app anyway, and then, out of nowhere, he just hung up on me! Not sure what the deal was with that 🤷🏼‍♀️

I asked who it was and the guy, speaking with a strong foreign accent, said he was from a COVID 19 Centre and started asking if I’d had my vaccine. I told him that’s private info and then he just dropped the call. Sounds like a scam or some kind of dodgy fraud attempt.
