I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who started asking if I’d already had the Covid jab and if I had any issues with the clinic. Then, out of nowhere, she said something like, 'Your records show you have life insurance'. That felt a bit off to me but I said yes anyway. She kept pushing for which company it was with, but I told her I didn’t know and that my partner handles all that stuff. She tried to get me to name the insurer, but I kept refusing. It definitely smelt like a scam to me - best just to not pick up or hang up immediately!

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming he was with the government. At first, he was asking questions about the covid jab, but out of nowhere he switched to talking about debts. I asked him what department he was from, and he just said "government." When I went "oh really?", he just ended the call. Definitely another sneaky scammer.

Got a call from someone asking for a person I’ve never heard of, then they just chuckled and ended the call. I’ve blocked the number since then.

Definitely a total NHS scam. A man with an Asian accent on the line, probably from a call centre, took a moment before he started talking once I picked up. Watch out, they might already know your full name but they are not from the NHS at all. I heard him out briefly and then told him to cut the nonsense. He called me rubbish, so I told him to stop being so rude and that he’s a scammer, not NHS. Then the call just ended suddenly.

I got a call from someone saying they were with UK Citizens Advice, telling me I had some debt to settle, which I definitely don't. They also asked if I had health insurance. When I told them I used to work for HMRC, they just hung up on me straight away. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

It's clear they aren't located in the UK, and when pressed, he confided that he was actually calling from Sri Lanka. I made it clear I wasn't going to engage in conversation, and after a frustrated sigh, he disconnected the call. I received a call purporting to be from the national COVID centre, claiming they could access my information from the national database. I found it highly improbable that they were reaching out regarding my COVID vaccinations. However, the caller then switched the topic to discussing insurance. Scam alert! This chap was masquerading as someone from the "national Covid centre" just to reel me in for some dodgy health insurance scheme. Honestly, I can't vouch for the authenticity of the insurance they were offering, but their blatant dishonesty throughout our chat was quite alarming!

In today's barrage of calls, I've been told they’re offering assistance with debts, warned about a supposed government debt that could lead to arrest, and even directed towards a Covid helpline!
