Received a call from someone who addressed me by my first name. They asserted they were representing the NHS and inquired about my Covid vaccinations, which I acknowledged having. They then proceeded to ask whether I had received any correspondence regarding this matter, to which I replied negatively. Surprisingly, they then mentioned having seen that I possess Life Insurance, which isn't the case at all. When I stated that I didn't, the caller abruptly ended the conversation. I'm relieved I didn't divulge any personal information; had they requested any sensitive details, I would have promptly recognised it as a scam and terminated the call myself.

Earlier today, I received a rather suspicious phone call from an individual purporting to be affiliated with the NHS. This chap, who had an accent suggesting he was from India, bombarded me with all sorts of queries regarding myself, my family, and our health backgrounds. It quickly became apparent that he wasn’t being genuine at all. I’ve got a nagging feeling that he could pose a threat. So I urge everyone to stay vigilant and protect your personal information!

This guy claimed he was calling from some Covid jab centre and started by asking if I’d had all my shots, then if I’d done any recent Covid tests. Next thing, he’s asking about my life insurance and who I’m covered with, even about my partner’s details. I just kept turning his questions back on him by answering with questions of my own - he didn’t seem too happy about that!

The funny thing is, I settled all my financial obligations last year! When I pointed this out and mentioned the mix-up with my name, the chap called me a liar and rather rudely insulted me before slamming the phone down. Quite the nerve!

Absolutely a dodgy operation. Best to block them. I fall into what was deemed a vulnerable category during the Covid crisis, and let me tell you, whatever this is smells fishy. It’s supposedly about health insurance and Covid-related info, but it’s definitely not affiliated with the UK government. Do not, under any circumstances, divulge any personal details to the person on the other end of the phone. Stay safe!

I received a call that purported to be from the NHS, inquiring whether I’d completed all my vaccinations and if I possessed a vaccination certificate. The conversation took a rather odd turn when they began probing about my life insurance-curious as to who my provider was. I pointed out that my insurance details were entirely irrelevant to the NHS's concerns, but they persisted in demanding this information. I firmly stated that it was none of their concern, at which point they abruptly ended the call. It’s quite clear that this was a scam call originating from India, despite the caller ID indicating Cheltenham.

I've had a similar experience recently. I just told them to shove off, as I've dealt with their kind before. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt for a few minutes last time, and when they probed about my life insurance, I inadvertently mentioned the company I’m with. A few weeks later, I began receiving calls that were supposedly from my insurer, claiming there was a change to my policy. Whenever I answer those calls, I insist that they confirm my identity with my own security questions, and wouldn’t you know it, they haven’t a clue what my policy number is! They always end up hanging up on me. I’ve now blocked a whole range of numbers that keep pestering me. Honestly, these folks are the worst kind of vermin! 🤬
