Got a follow-up call from CPC Holidays after I entered their prize draw at the Ideal Home Show earlier this year. They were just confirming my details were right and letting me know when the draw would take place. They also asked if they could get in touch with me again about future deals, but I said no thanks, and they said they’d only reach out if I won. Seemed genuine since I did enter the competition myself.

I've received around ten calls from this number now, and while I’ve picked up each time, I'm quite unsettled since I have no clue who’s ringing me.

Told me I'd been put into some holiday prize draw and asked me to 'verify my details' on a form. I do occasionally enter competitions, so I'm always cautious about these calls. I asked if it was related to timeshares, and the person said yes, it's part of what they offer, so I just said no thanks. They said they got my info from Woman's Own magazine. The bloke wasn’t pushy or anything, so I wouldn’t call it harassment. Still, I went ahead and blocked the number.

This is the second call ive had from them in just a few days, reading the comments it’s clear what they want. Was tempted to get three timeshares but then again, wouldnt have much left of my benefits to be fair.

I gotta say, I agree with the previous comments. It’s some company telling you that you’ve won a holiday competition, but then they ask for all your personal info to ‘confirm’ it. Totally a scam. The annoying bit is they use lots of different phone numbers, so even if you block one, they just ring from another one.

Got another call from somone in Cheltenam, blocked it again. This is the fourth time they've tried me. How on earth did they get hold of my number?? It's ex directory for a reason!! Is privacy dead now?? Proper sick of these cold callers making up stories. 'You entered a prize draw' or 'you’ve won something' - nah, I haven’t cause I never enter any of that rubbish!!

Loads of calls from different Cheltenham numbers, all from clc. I did some digging and found out it’s like one of those timeshare pyramid schemes where you pay for a “free” holiday. They just hassle you with a really pushy sales pitch, not worth the bother at all.

Clc timeshares called me saying I’d “won” a “free” holiday, but you still have to pay admin fees and go to a presentation - which isn't even near me. Somehow they’ve got my name and even know if I’m married or not! When I block their number, they just ring me from another one. If my mate didn’t live in Cheltenham, I’d block the entire area code for sure! They call me so often that I’ve actually put my mobile on the TPS list now.

Funny thing is, I never signed up for any contest but somehow I 'won' a holiday!! They want me to go to some holiday agency for a presentation and apparently I gotta hand over £90 deposit!! They say they'll give it back when I show up!!! They’ve even arranged a free stay at a 6 star hotel on the day we visit the agency!!! Plus they’re offering a selection of 4 different vacations!!! I could hear loads of noise in the background like it was a packed office with lots of people chatting on phones!!!
