Got a call from nearly the same number just yesterday, so I blocked it straight away. It was CLC again. I said I never join competitions and the bloke laughed, saying "Oh yeah, YOU did!" Told him to quit calling me, doubt he’ll actually listen though. Proper annoying and feels like harassment. There’s no such thing as a freebie, and that “free holiday” they keep on about? Not a chance. Bet if I took it, they’d have me hooked for hours trying to sell me some timeshare nonsense and dig into my bank details!

My 88 year old mum got a call on this number saying £600 had been stolen from her bank and sent overseas. She just hung up straight away - fair play to her. I reckon these awful scammers would have tried to get her bank login next, pretending they were trying to fix things, so they could take all her money. It's really sad knowing there are such cruel people out there with zero decency!

I've been inundated with calls from this number recently, often getting two in a single day! It's been going on for over a year now. The odd way the number is structured, combined with their habit of never leaving any voicemail, strongly suggests it's some sort of telemarketing or potentially a scam operation.

I just ignored it and blocked the number after looking it up here. They didn’t leave a voicemail or anything. This call came the day after I switched from a Vodafone contract to O2 PAYG and moved my number over using a PAC. Not sure if it’s related, but thought I’d mention it in case someone else had the same thing happen.

Got a call from CLC world holidays and resorts. The lady on the phone said I won a competition I apparently entered last June. She knew my name and asked if I was married, lived in the UK and owned a home, then asked if I wanted to be contacted again by them. Feels a bit dodgy, not sure if it’s legit or a scam.

I've been inundated with calls from this number, so I decided to block it. Yet, I continued to receive more from 01242 790213 instead of 790130. Intrigued, I rang them at the crack of dawn, hoping for a voicemail to decipher! And lo and behold, I struck gold! While I couldn't make out every word due to the garbled audio, it sounded something like “welcome to CRC world resorts and hotels”! I think I’ll unblock the number and sit tight for their next attempt; they’re in for quite a surprise when they see my calls coming in! Good luck to them!
