At around 09:40 this morning, I received a phone call from someone who mentioned they had scheduled an appointment for a Caroline for the coming week. When I informed her that there wasn’t a Caroline at this number, she apologised and seemed ready to hang up. I then pointed out that I had mistakenly given my number as *** ###, when in fact it should be ### ***. She confirmed she had dialled the correct number, which was indeed ### ***. It felt like an honest mix-up rather than something dodgy.
