Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media offering a deal to lower my contract bill. The number wasn’t one I usually get Virgin calls from - my phone usually shows the name Virgin when they ring. I told the lady I needed 10 minutes before she could call back, just so I could get some stuff done, fully expecting she wouldn’t bother calling again. She didn’t seem too pleased about that 😅😂😂

A guy with an Asian accent called me, said his name was Mike and claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. He asked for my name, date of birth, and postcode, then told me I could upgrade my iPhone 7 to an iPhone 12 for £20 a month and that the phone would be delivered the next day.
