I got a call supposedly from HMRC saying there’s a fraud investigation and they gave me some case number on an automated message. Then they connected me to someone asking me to confirm that number. Sounds like a total scam to me since HMRC always sends you letters first. Seriously, why don’t phone providers do more to block these annoying scam calls??
