Got a robocall from this number saying they were with Ofcom, warning me about some hacking issue on my phone line. They said my service would be cut off in a day unless I did their 'security checks'. The weird thing is, the number had my own local area code on it. Seems like they're hoping people will answer because it looks like a nearby call, even if you don't know the full number. Pretty sneaky tactic if you ask me.
