Today, I got an automated call from this number. They were purporting to be from BT, saying that my broadband service had been compromised in some way. Then, they urged me to press 1 to speak with a technician who could assist me. I’m fairly certain this isn’t a genuine BT number; it seems like scammers are lurking behind this dodgy contact. Just a heads-up to everyone, there are plenty of unscrupulous individuals about!

Got a call saying my internet was about to be cut off or something and to press 1 right away if I wanted help. Sounded fishy to me.
